This project will significantly boost the station’s capacity to handle higher power loads and it will be able to meet the increasing power demand in the area.

Challenges

The extension work at the 500 kV Grid Station Jamshoro, along with the augmentation work at the 220/132 kV T.M. Khan and Hala Road Grid Stations, is a highly technical and challenging task. The biggest challenge we face is acquiring shutdowns and working safely within the existing energized grid stations
